The curriculum is designed to make a student "industry-ready" by teaching: Tool Usage: Identification and maintenance of plumbing tools (wrenches, thread cutters, etc.). Pipe Fitting: Techniques for laying pipelines, thread cutting, and joining different types of pipes (PVC, GI, CPVC). Installation: Fixing kitchen sinks, washbasins, water closets (WC), and water meters. Maintenance: Detecting leakages, replacing defective parts, and cleaning sewer lines. Advanced Systems: Understanding water boosting systems and hot/cold water distribution in high-rise buildings. Scope and Career Opportunities : The demand for certified plumbers is at an all-time high due to rapid urbanization and the boom in the real estate sector. Wage Employment : Working as a maintenance plumber in hospitals, hotels, schools etc. Construction Industry : Joining plumbing contractors at large-scale residential or commercial building sites. Self-Employment : Starting an independent plumbing business or consultancy for residential repair and installation.
