Candidates with I.T.I can go for higher studies like Diploma in Engineering. There are also specialized short term courses in Advanced Training Institute (ATI) which enhance the skill of candidates.
I.T.I qualified persons can set up their own private business based on the trade opted.
ITI qualified persons can set up their own garage, motor/generator/transformer winding shops or fabrication shops depending upon trade opted. Also candidates can apply for jobs in private sector and public sectors.
Government organisations like Indian Army, Railway , Rseb, Navy, Airforce and also paramilitary forces like BSF, CRPF provide opportunities for ITI passed candidates of different trades.
